Works for first page only

The promise is excellent - take any PDF and OCR into Word, Excel etc. But it fails completely when dealing with multi-page PDFs or multiple single page PDFs. While the first page is OCRed beautifully (I was converting to Excel format) with tables data exporting well - that’s where it stops, on the first page. The rest of the pages of a multiple page PDF or remainder of PDFs (in a multiple PDF project) just have gibberish characters.

The only workaround I stumbled upon was to double click each page (and each page of each PDF) so it generates a preview, before converting it. Notice the words “stumbled upon”, the Help is useless. So if you are working with a 10 page PDF, thats 10 double clicks manuallly but then you were expecting this to be automated in an app that promises this automation, didn’t you?

Completely useless!

Add to this the interface issues. Once you are done with one PDF and want to move on to the other, you have to close the app, and relaunch it to be able to get to a blank starting slate.

Don’t buy it unless you know FOR SURE that you will be working with single page PDFs only and that too, only one single page PDF at a time.

Argh!! (Trying to suppress the urge to type in some obscenities and click the Submit button instead).
